Open your Outlook Express (Email Client).
In the
Tools
menu, click on the
'Accounts'
tab.
The Internet Accounts window will pop up.
Click on the
Mail
tab.
Go to
Add
, then click on
'Mail'
.
When this window pops up, type in the name you wish to display in your e-mail. Then, click on 'Next'.
Type in your
e-mail address
, and then click on
'Next'
.
Type in the POP and SMTP Server information. Then click on
'Next'
.
POP SERVER: pop.yourdomain.com
SMTP SERVER: smtp.yourdomain.com
Type in your username and password. If you want your password to be remembered by the computer, check 'Remember Password'.
Username: username@domain.com
Password: yourpassword
Click on
'Finish'
.
Another window will pop up. You will see the account you have just created. Clicking on
'Properties'
will let you change your e-mail configuration.
NOTE
The way you set up your pop accounts will depend on the E-mail Client you are using.
The basic mail server preferences that you need to remember are:
Your POP3 (incoming mail) server is: pop.yourdomain.com
Your SMTP (outgoing mail) server is: smtp.yourdomain.com
Your username and password are the username and password you used in your primary e-mail account.
For Eudora Mail users:
Use the following to setup your POP3 account:
